The International Service of Banca Popolare di Sondrio, as parts of his initiatives dedicated to the operators interested in acquiring new skills to effectively manage business internationalization, proposes Friday In-Formation, a series of meetings on tools and payments for foreign trade.

The six meetings, which can also be enjoyed individually, will be held by external consultants – selected from among the top experts in the specific subject matter – and banks specialists.

The first appointment, “Destination selection: definition of priorities among foreign markets” by Studio Bonucchi e Associati Srl will be held on April 4.

The second lesson will focus on international payments tools, as tools for the credit risk, and will take place on May 9.

The next two appointments are scheduled on May 23 and 30 and will cover the products of Trade Finance. The two theoretical lessons on documentary collections, letters of credit and bank guarantees will be accompanied by two practical exercises: preparing conforming documents and drafting a guarantee.

On June 20, the course will cover financial risk management with a focus on foreign exchange, rate and commodity hedges.

Lastly, on June 27, date of the latest meeting, Studio Legale Padovan will focus on the issues of compliance in international transactions.

All appointments will be transmitted on the Webex platform and participation is free of charge, upon registration for each event by the Wednesday before the same, via the appropriate form available on BPS’s Business School platform under the heading “Course and event calendar”.
