After the success of the first appointment, Friday In-Formation continues, the training cycle on foreign trade tools and payments organized by the International Service of Banca Popolare di Sondrio, for the benefit of companies interested in expanding competitively in global markets.
During the first meeting, held on Friday, April 4, the specialist Rita Bonucchi of the Studio Bonucchi e Associati SRL, guided the numerous participants in the exploration of various methos for selecting destinations, maximizing the likelihood of success, through a structured and evidence-based approach.
The next appointments, scheduled for May and June, will be dedicated to technical topics and so conducted by specialist of the bank, with the exception of the last lesson, which will be curated by Padovan Law Firm.
In detail, on May 9 the focus will be international payment tools as credit risk tools. Then on May 23 and 30, trade finance products will be analysed: documentary collections, letters of credit and international bank guarantees. These two modules will include two short practical exercises to help participants prepare compliant documents and draft a guarantee in line with current regulations.
The course will resume on June 20 with a lesson on financial risk management with a focus on foreign exchange, rate and commodity hedges. Finally, the cycle will conclude on June 27 and, as anticipated, Studio Padovan will delve into compliance issues in international transactions.
All appointments, also available individually, will be transmitted on the Webex platform and participation is free of charge, upon registration for each event by the Wednesday before the same, via the appropriate form available on BPS’s Business School platform under the heading “Course and event calendar”.
