Banca Popolare di Sondrio, Founded in 1871, has consistently offered its services to families, SMEs and institutional entities. It is now proud to announce a new channel of credit dedicated to Third Sector Entities (ETS) supported 80% by the guarantees offered by the Central Guarantee Fund for SMEs.

This new opportunity for our clients is part of the Social Fund –“Supporting Socially Oriented Projects” which has been developed in collaboration with ‘Promozioniservizi” (PIESSE) a company in the CRIF Group and the Moleskine Foundation,

Within the framework of this proposal, Banca Popolare di Sondrio is committed to evaluating the granting of loans up to a maximum of €60,000 .The loans will be essentially aimed at socially oriented projects in the ““S- Social” Category, an area in which traditional financing is hard to access.

The new line of credit is aimed primarily at those entities for which the Bank exercises the role of Treasury, at consortiums and the local social co-operatives operating in the Bank’s area as well as the almost 200 organizations which are members of Confcooperative Parma with which, through Omnia Service Srl, there exists a form of collaboration mainly focused on the agricultural and renewable energy sectors.

Mario Alberto Pedranzini, CEO and General Manager of the Banca Popolare di Sondrio stated:. "For over 150 years the Banca Popolare di Sondrio has held deep roots in this area and has always been firmly committed to supporting the welfare of the local community. This new line of credit represents a further step in our constant mission to support Third Sector Organizations which we consider fundamental to the social development of our community.” He added, “The collaboration with professional partners such as Promozioniservizi and The Moleskin Foundation will allow us to offer clearly defined concrete support, giving all assistance necessary to develop worthy projects of benefit to all the community..”
